Tucked away at the side of my sister, Ruth’s house, is this sweet little garden, it makes you feel as though you’ve literally stepped out of the wardrobe and into a new world…So I’m sharing with you all another favourite dress of mine. This dress was a birthday present from my mother, and I absolutely love the way it fits. The floral pattern on it gives it a delicate look.

I styled my look using, this faux fur vest I picked up from Valley Girl! I am in love with this vest, I know I will be wearing it a lot this coming winter. The vest gave an edge to this very girly dress whilst keeping the entire look delicate and chic. I added my nude wedges (which are perfect for walking on grass) and my absolute favourite watch.

Floral patterns can be paired with a number of accessories. You can make the pattern stand out and be more feminine or you can choose to pair a darker floral print with accessories and items that will make it slightly more urban, such as a leather or dark denim, you can even take an warmer toned floral print and create a bohemian look, florals can work on a number of different levels.

Today was the birthday party for the most wonderful 3 year old I know! My nephew. To think it’s only been three years since this wonderful child came into our lives, bringing all of his attitude with him. Children are amazing gifts, they make even the toughest of people swoon, and make all kinds of silly noises and faces. Who knows if it is their tiny little fingers, their even tinier finger nails, there big eyes or crazy smiles (or pouts in the case of my nephews) but they are just so adorable!
