You may have never guessed that I got pooped on by a bird just as these pictures were being taken! The bird managed to aim perfectly for my right eye lid, my frustration was on another level as I had no tissues to wipe it off with so had to use my hands. Lucky it didn’t land on my clothes. I hear it means good luck if a bird poops on you so I’m gonna take that and run with it.

I love warm days in Melbourne, it allows for the shorts and loose blouses to come out! This particular blouse came from my mama’s closet! Remember, as a kid, you used to try on your mum’s shoes and all her clothes… I’m sure we all still do that. Let’s be honest ;)

For this look I wore one of the first pair of heeled boots I ever bought. It was probably while I was in year 12 that I bought these grey booties, and they were my favourite!

Hope you are all enjoying the first week of 2013. Whatever happened in 2012, good or bad, let it go, look forward to bigger and better things!

I can’t believe that there are only two weeks left until Christmas, where has the time gone? I haven’t bought a single gift yet and it was only last night that the boy decided to put the Christmas tree up…see I would have done it myself if the tree wasn’t twice my height! With this look I was going for a sports vibe, it worked a treat as red is my colour of choice at the moment.

Black Rose

I did say that I want to wear more colour and buy more colourful pieces for my wardrobe, my goal hasn’t changed but while I was yet again closet cleansing, I found this top that was given to me as a present that I have never worn. The plus side on clearing out your wardrobe is, there always seems to be hidden gems pushed to the back and forgotten about.

 Straight away I started thinking about how I’d style it, and this outfit was created. An all black look with a hint of gold, very sleek and minimalistic. I wanted all the textures to create another dimension to this look and stop it from being just another black outfit.

Clowning Around

I wore this while chilling with the boy on our casual Sunday. These pants have to be my favourite pair of jeans. They are super comfy, the material does not feel like denim at all and of course I love the bright colour and print. I call them my clown pants, simply because when I wear then I tend to goof around a lot more that usual :)  The boy and I indulged in Malaysian food (our latest food obsession) at Pappa Rich, the best Malay I’ve had, I’m drooling just thinking about it. We then headed over to my sister’s house to continue celebrating her birthday.
