βThere is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me, that is the true essence of beauty.β

Today I was feeling just that, comfortable in my own skin. I felt no need for any makeup. I was confident and felt sure of myself, happy to leave the house with a bare face.

This past weekend was spent on a retreat in the city with the boy. It was great just relaxing and spending time together as we didn’t really get to do that on our anniversary which was two weeks ago. This was my outfit on the first day. I’ve been meaning to wear this blazer for some time now but haven’t had the chance to as the weather didn’t permit. Finally it was cold enough so I threw it on with my favourite purchase of the month, these leopard print heels. Hope you all had a great weekend!

I first saw these shoes when I was yet again procrastinating and Internet shopping instead of being productive. I’ll try to fight the urge to wear the heels with all my outfits as leopard print goes with everything in my opinion. A full post with these babies will be up soon.

Graduations are moments of mixed emotions; relief, excitement, joy, liberty, accomplishment and slight sadness. One can expect to feel one if not all of these emotions. Last wednesday my parents felt proud, my best friend was excited and I was reliefed!
Graduating was a fun occasion, something very similar to the graduation scene out of the 2009 Fame movie. But instead of breaking out into song and dance, we stood in unison while bag pipes played Waltzing Matilda marking the end of our journey as undergrads of Swinburne 2013! It was all quiet dramatic!
In all seriousness I loved every semester I spent at Swinburne, making new friends and learning skills that I can apply in life as well as my career path! I am so grateful to my parents for their support and encouragement of all the things I do.
To other graduates of 2013, CONGRATULATIONS! You should be proud of your achievements and dream on to bigger things!
